Reading Development Booklist and Book-Level Assessment
This program makes it easy to select the right books for your child by providing you with two important tools: a Reading Development Booklist and a Book-Level Assessment. The Reading Development Booklist contains hundreds of titles of children’s books divided by level of difficulty, as well as a section of chapter books for reading aloud. The teacher will also provide you with an individualized Book-Level Assessment to help you select books at the appropriate level of difficulty for your child throughout second grade.
Children's Literature
In class, your child will read engaging children’s books at the right level of difficulty for developing readers. You’ll also receive two of these books to keep, to jumpstart your child’s independent reading at home.
