Reading Development Booklist
The Reading Development Booklist summarizes hundreds of great children’s books for reading aloud to your child. It also includes a section listing the first books your child will use phonics skills to read, usually beginning in mid-to-late kindergarten. This resource will guide your book selections for read-aloud and beginning independent reading throughout the next one to two years.
